Anointed for Sweet Exhaustion

P. Vladimir Teplov and I sat in his Moscow apartment for a few minutes too exhausted to speak. We looked at each other and just smiled.

"How was the conference in Helsinki?"
"Oh" he said with his tired but purposeful Russian accent,
"It was a-mazing". Rubbing his eyes he struggled to utter a few choice quotes from p.Love. Then in the middle of his sentence he stopped, turned with sleepy eyes smiled again and said "let's pr-ray".

I had just arrived an hour ago to St. Petersburg by early morning (2am) plane from Tyumen, Siberia where sleep was what we did when we weren't preaching, praying or fellowshipping and eating pelmeni. P. Vladimir had just moments ago walked in the door from a sleepless night in a mini-bus from Helsinki to St.Pete followed by a long train ride to Moscow.

We prayed briefly then I got up with my bags and went out the door - I was off on a 28 hour trek back to Baltimore by plane, train, and metro. As I walked out onto the sidewalk he opened a window and shouted to me from the second floor;

"Hey pastor Chris!" looking up a him he just shook his head, laughed and closed the window.

We were beyond beat.

July 4-7 we met up with all the Russian pastors and many of the Russian believers in St. Petersburg and had a conference continuing the topic of Convention- "Anointed for Service"

By the next day I was two time zones away in Siberia at a missions conference with p. Pavel Gailans. Each night we had about 70 in attendance. Damir and Natavan from Baku came and blessed us with their joyful portion and Lezginka dances (see below the video). New team members have joined the team in Tyumen and God is adding new people to the church. It's a Siberian Spring there.

I think one of the highlights was sitting in the thick Siberian Woods with a boisterous happy group of young Russian eager men singing, eating pork chops, onions, cucumbers and dry bread with our hands talking about Luke 17.21.

Today is Monday July 11th, and as I write this blog entry I am hurling towards the Finnish border at 220 km/hr in a high speed Russian train. I am stirred in my heart with a fresh vision for Russia; Novosibirsk, Volvograd, Vladivastok, Tobolsk, Stavropol, and Kazan.

Let's burn for Him!

Here Damir and his wife Natavan dance the traditional Lezgi "Knife Dance" after a rap one night:

Here Arkhad and Damir do another Lezgi Dance for us:

Pastor Mihail Obrecht

“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” Psalm 116:15

October 3, 2010, Pastor Mihail Obrecht, a loving husband, godly father
and a mighty Russian pastor full of faith, joy and vision, was
promoted to be with the Lord in Heaven. He died from the injuries he
suffered in a car accident September 30, 2010 on his way to a Bible
study.

Please be in prayer for the comfort and support for Olga, his wife,
his 3 children, Daniel, Samuel and Mihail and the Greater Grace church
of Kaliningrad, Russia.

EuroCon 2010 - Beauty of Holiness

This year's European Conference was a hallmark time in the Word, Fellowship and in the Spirit! Approximately 1,100 people from 33 different countries attended this year's conference. Be sure to check the links below for the mp3's, videos, and Russian translation

Yesterday we arrived to Lviv, Ukraine with Pastor Jim Morrison. He is the senior pastor of GGCF in Marlborough, Mass. He is speaking at a conference here for the Ukrainian pastors that are preparing for ordination in the Fall. God willing we will see 5 faithful Ukrainian men get their ordination when P. Schaller visits.

We are excited and humbled to see the hand of the Lord moving in this country and we are asking for your prayers as we go to Kyiv on Saturday in time for Palm Sunday.

In His Holiness,
p. Christian Moore

Russian Christmas Day ... С Рождеством!

Short update from Russia...
(I'm writing this blog entry from my mobile phone)

After a conference with P. Schaller and the pastors & saints from all over Russia & Ukraine we celebrate Christmas today with the church in St. Petersburg Russia. There was a service, worship led by Matt ("baby") Roberge and then a desert fellowship. P. Vladislav from Turkmenistan, P.Misha from Kaliningrad, P. Tolik from Uzhgorod & P. Yura from Almaty were there and there we rapped with a beautiful group of Russians for several hours. The time was precious as we spoke of His Name and His Anointing. We certainly had a visitation from God during the conference. Shortly after desert we all ventures out into -10 degrees snowey weather and did outreach at Dvorsky Pl the center of St Petersburg where there were festivites and thousands of thousands if people gathered at a special Christmas presentation. (See photo below).

I preached today on Joshua 5 that any blessing we posses now is because we made hard decisions by faith in honor of Jesus Christ and His promises. As soon as the Israelites crossed the Jordan they were eating of the fruit of the promised land. God wants us to eat of the fruit of the decions we make by faith in His Grace Promises. Though the Istaelites didn't know it - the Canaanites were afraid of them Josh 5.1-3.

But they didn't stop there, in the face of their victory passing into the promised land they could see only a few miles away the next faith adventure: "Jericho".

We are called and led by Promises not by Law. By the Law we posses nothing but by faith in Grace we posses our possesions and experience all that God has for us.

Thank You for your prayers. Will write next week.

In Him,
P.Chris

P.Alexai, & me in Dvorsky Pl St. Petersburg Russia.

Delayed but Determined, Displaced yet Destined.

Reykjavik, Iceland - July 30th - 8 Degrees Celsius (45 Degrees F)

It didn't look to promising as two worried mechanics made their way to
the plane engine. It was only minutes later that they, shaking their
heads walked away from the plane we were all waiting to board.
IcelandAir flight 343 would be grounded due to "technical issues" and
we would be spending the night on this chilly island.

The inhabitants of this curious island of 300,000 people still speak
"Islenska" claimed to be so close to what the Vikings spoke
that Icelanders can read and understand the writings of Leif Erickson written
centuries ago.

Beginning to pray I asked God what he had me here for on this stark
island where the terrain reminded me of the lunar surface with tufts
of grass and moss struggling to survive on it. The crystal icy water
surging over black volcanic rock seemed to properly portray the environment of contrasts here where
seafaring Vikings once lived as they plundered the coasts of Northern
Europe.

With many sullen faces around suddenly it struck me it may not be very pleasant to talk to people about Christ here. I was about
to escape to my hotel room when I saw a teenager reading a Bible and
writing notes on a scrap of paper.

"is that a Bible? Are you a believer?" I asked. It was and as we began
to talk about grace and the finished work I understood that this was a
divinely ordained appointment. This teen was coming from Finland where
God had met them and began a work in their life after months of
straying "God sent you here" she said.

Sheep wander and can even be found in Iceland

Helsinki, Finland: July
24-27 - Summer Conference with P.Schaller and the Finns - "Fruit that
Remains"

After not having been in Finland for 16 years it was such a blessing
to see so many still walking with God that I had known years before.
Now they had children that were in their teens and you could see the
determination in their eyes from the narrow way. We often found
ourselves surrounded by these young people and youth raps would
spontaneously start. The last night I was there I got together with 8
Finnish guys and had Finnish "Hornets" (chicken wings) - from 5.30pm
to almost midnight we rapped about the call of God. Just being with
these guys was one of the great highlights of my time there.

My last day in Finland I had the blessed opportunity to train up to
Vaasa and visit P.Tero & Riitta with their church there. Vaasa is a city of 56,000 people and 18,000 of them are international university students. It was a great blessing to see P. Tero and Riitta ministering there.

Truly fruit that remains...

Saint Petersburg Russia
July 20-23 with P.Schaller

A group of about 100 gathered together from Uzbekistan, Finland,
Baltimore & Russia in Saint Petersburg for a summer conference titled: "All
Things are now Ready" The three days we were there were packed with the
word, fellowship, and lots of Russian. Every night was finished off in
a small kitchen area in our youth hostel with a rap with 30 Russians chowing on
everything from melons to caviar. We are truly blessed people that we
can live this life.

July 11-19 eQuad / p.Love Ukrainian Summer Conference - L'viv

I traveled 7 hours with 12 teens and Bible college students with p.Love crammed in a small
mini-bus from Warsaw to L'viv Ukraine. There we had the
best summer conference with the Ukrainians. P.Love preached on the
riches of Grace and the pervasiveness of the anointing permeated us all.
One thing I don't think we'll forget is the Youth hostel with the 3
Igors and the "Freeze Mob" evangelism we did in the center of L'viv with no practice at all - you can see it here: (http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1204557273577)

Thanks to P. Misha and all those that worked hard during the conference to make it an amazing event.

Enjoy the slide shows below - these are only some of the photos taken: (if you cannot see them click here: /goye4th/2009/07/delayed-but-determined-displaced-yet.html)
